Updates & Company News

Updated September 4, 2008

I am very pleased and honored that Dive Rite has invited me to be one of their diving "Ambassadors." This explanation is taken from the Dive Rite web site: "Dive Rite Ambassadors are a select group of dive enthusiasts who, through their work or explorations, epitomize the Dive Rite ethics of excellence, innovation, determination and professionalism. Our Ambassadors are explorers, instructors, technical diving trainers, scientists, conservationists, photographers and filmmakers from around the world."

For the last year, I've been looking for locations to capture an advertising still for Gates Underwater Products. After diving around the Outer Banks this summer, I realized I had found my location and my subjects.     I took a trip to Hatteras with accomplished underwater photographer Will Allen  www.willallenphoto.com  to shoot a photograph of me nose to nose with a 10 foot Sand Tiger shark. This is what we came back with!!

I'm also a dive team member and underwater cameraman in Dan Crowell’s “WWII Underwater” and KPI's four part special series for the Military Channel series called “Quest For Sunken Warships.” In the four part special series, originally titled "Sea Battles," we take viewers through some of the most amazing shipwrecks in the world while telling the stories of the battles that sunk them from a scuba divers perspective. Our focus is to help shed light on some of the most amazing conflicts fought on the ocean's battlefields.
